Okay everyone thank you so much for your advice. Unfortunately it still doesnt work. A lot of you told me to go to the layout and add a gadget.. however I don't even have that option anymore.. it just disappeared! I've tried really hard to fix it but I just can't. I am really disappointed that I couldn't fix it however, I am kind of excited to start fresh. I am going to make my new blog even better than my old! I am really hoping all of you will follow my new blog. :)

VERY IMPORTANT!! EVERYONE PLEASE READ!

Okay so I screwed up with my blog. As you can see the layout is very different and everything I had on the sidebar is gone. I clicked this one button in the edit HTML thing out of curiousity and it basically changed everything! After hours of trying to fix it I have failed. I can't even go to that page where you can edit the sidebars and the header. I am so upset because I have worked extremely hard on my blog! You can't even see my followers on my blog now! So my first question is does anybody know how to fix this?!!! And my second is if no one knows how to fix this will you follow me if I make a new blog! The idea of that makes me so sad considering I loved this one so much. But i don't know what to do anymore :S

please respond! I am very angry and upset about this.

Hair Products I Love

These are the hair products that I use on a regular basis and that I definitely recommend =)

1.Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Conditioner - This is the only conditioner that works for my hair. I get horrible tangles and this works miracles on it plus it's cheap!

2. Got2b Crazysleek Hot Smooth Iron & Blow Dry Lotion- I don't know what I ever did without this product. It is great at making your hair soft and protecting it from heat.

3. Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar - Lush Shampoo bars are the best invention ever! Not only are they practical but they also last up to 80 washes! I especially love Seanik because it smells like the Ocean and makes my hair sooo soft!

4. Pantene Pro-V Time Renewal Replenishing Mask - Again, Pantene is the only brand that works best with my hair. This mask makes my hair extremely soft and easy to manage all while restoring it.

5. Bed Head TIGI Ego Boost Split End Mender Leave-in Conditioner - This is one of the most amazing leave-in conditioners I've ever tried. It honestly makes my hair softer than anything and at the same time mends my split ends. I love this product so much. I highly recommend!

6. bigsexyhair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray - All I can say is my search for the perfect hair spray has ended. This product is amazing! Every other hairspray I tried left my hair crunchy AND sticky. I thought all hairsprays were like that till I found this! Again, I highly recommend. It’s amazing!

7. bigsexyhair Root Pump Spray Mousse - Another amazing product that I could not live without. This of course goes great with the bigsexyhair hairspray! Together they make my hair so big & sexy (obviously!). I love it! If you want the volume without the stick then definitely get this product!

I hope this was helpful for some people. I know I’m not the best at reviewing products but these all are honestly amazing! Do you have any hair products that you absolutely love?

1.) My family - I love my family so much! They are so supportive and being with them just makes me so happy!

2.) Animals! - Especially my cat Zoey! She is my little baby. I've had her forever

3.) My Boyfriend Dan - He is the sweetest guy ever! I love him lots!

4.) Summer! Nothing makes me happier then laying in the warm sun! I seriously can't wait for June to get here!

5.) Being silly - I love to be silly and just laugh. Of course I'm really shy so only a few people get to see this side of me.

6.) My friends - They mean so much to me! I miss them a lot because most of them have gone off to College.

7.) Those amazing nights where were not exactly sober.

8.) Music! There isn't many things in the World that can top how a certain song can make us feel.

9.) My cabin - well actually my old cabin. My family and I used to own this amazing, huge, private cabin up north. It is beautiful and one of a kind. Everytime I think about it I get really upset and angry at my parents for selling it. They sold it because we lived too far away from it and we now own a cottage which we live a lot closer to. I miss my Cabin so much and I will always love it! It makes me so sad that I won't every own it again. I'm hoping that in the future a miracle will happen and I will be able to buy it back. I am terrifyed that the people who own it now will ruin its "pureness". I love this place so much it breaks my heart that it's not mine anymore.

10.) Last but not least Lush Cosmetics! Boy do I love Lush and I don't think I'm the only one either. I am obsessed with this place! It is amazing and I tend to spend all my money on it.

Curse of the Curves

It has been a good couple of days! I'm hoping this week will continue this way. On Sunday my family and I went out to breakfest and I got a delicious raspberry crepe. We then went ice skating which was a lot of fun and quite terrifying. I have literally forgotten how to skate. It definitely brought me back to when I was younger and took lessons. Today, my friend Eric and I hung out a took some cool pictures and tonight I am going to the movies with my love. Truly a great week so far. However, looking through these photos does make me a little sad. This is because of my lower half. I just hate being short and having curvy hips and thighs. It makes me really self-consious and angry since I love fashion for straight figured girls. It has become extremely frustrating. I must go on a better diet to get rid of all that fat! I want to feel good about myself again. This has been my lifetime struggle and a goal.

Yay, I was given another award! The lovely Logan gave me the Beautiful Blogger Award and I am so excited to have received it! If you havn't checked out Logans blog already then check it out and follow her because she and it is amazing! Thank you Logan for giving me this award! Now I am supposed to state 7 facts about me and then tag 7 lovely bloggers. So here goes :)

7 Facts about me are:

1. I am one of the few people that are known to have what people call a toe thumb. The thumb on my right hand looks like a squashed thumb or a toe. Both my sister and I were born with it but neither of our parents or our relatives have it. It is definitely a conversation starter. Do you have this or know anyone who has it? I’ve only met one other person with it who isn’t my sister.

2. My middle name is Helen (after my grandmas English name) but I’m going to change it to Mivanwe (which is her real Welsh name). It is pronounced Me-van-wee.

3. I’ve swam with sting rays, walked through ruins in Mexico and have been in Ernest Hemingway’s Key West home.

4. I have been taking singing lesson since I was in Grade six but I will not sing in front of people not even my family. I’m just to shy and embarrassed. I have however competed in singing competitions. Those are the only times my family has heard me sing.

5. I love tattoos and piercings. At the moment I only have one tattoo - a swallow on my right foot. As for piercings I have my ears, nose and tragus pierced. Eventually, I want to get my septum, labret and possibly my eyebrow pierced.

6. I have dyed my hair which is naturally blonde many different colours such as light brown, dark brown, dark purple, black, blonde again, and obviously light red and dark red.

7. Cooking and cleaning to music I listened to in Grade 8 and the beginning of Highschool puts me in such a good mood!

Just a Couple of Things ♥

Okay so there are a couple of things I want to talk about.

My lovely friend Eric came back from a two month visit to Brazil on Monday. He was there visiting a mutual friend of ours and he was sweet enough to bring me back a couple of things. He gave me Phebo girls Soap, Ylang Ylang Bath Salts, and a bracelet type thing that I forgot at his house :( I missed him lots so I’m really happy he is finally back!

Yesterday I announced the winner of my giveaway and as soon as I did that I noticed that I was losing followers. Now maybe it is just me but does anybody else find it tacky that the second my giveaway was over people stopped following me. I understand that most people followed my blog because of the giveaway but I was hoping that when they did follow me they would actually like my blog. I work hard on my blog and I personally think it is pretty good for a new blogger like myself. It just upsets me that they unfollowed me immediately after they found out they didn’t win. Anyways I will try not to feel bad about that and not take it too seriously. I just want to thank all of you who do continue to follow me and support my blog! I love all my followers and you guys just make my day!

I am very pleased to say that I was accepted to my first choice of College. I am feeling so much right now..mainly excitement and anxiety. I am so glad that (if I do go to this school) I will be moving out and starting my own life. However, being a major homebody I am also extremely nervous about leaving. I can’t wait till I go on a tour of the school and make an informed decision. These next few months before September will definitely be interesting.

Spring/Summer - I am so over this horrible weather! I am ready for shorts and florals, biking, the beach, and so much more! I can’t wait till I can just slip on some shorts and a tee and not have to worry about layering.

Heels- Once this snow is gone I am investing in a good couple pairs of heels. I have been obsessed with them lately and being the uncoordinated person that I am I have never considered them before. But now that my fashion sense has evolved I am ready to face the heels and be fabulous.

I had been ecstatic ever since my mom told me she would take me to Toronto Fashion Week. This has been something I’ve wanted to do ever since a couple years ago when I was there shopping and I walked by the tent where it was held. Also this would have been the first time I’ve ever been to a runway show. I was planning out everything about that trip. The hotel, the shopping, the everything. However, when the website with the details on the show was finally up I discovered that you must be 19 to attend. Being fucking 18 years old I cannot attend. This made me extremely upset as I was so looking forward to seeing the shows. I am angry because why do you have to be 19?! Last time I checked 18 was considered an adult in Ontario. Anyways I won’t bore you with my rants..I’m just disappointed that I have to wait another year.

My weight - I know I am not the only girl at the moment stressed about their weight. It seems to be around that time..where all the Christmas weight is there and summer is soon approaching. I however have been gaining weight ever since I met my boyfriend two and half years ago. I became so comfortable with him that eating healthy and working out wasn’t important anymore. I became extremely lazy and now two and half years later, many pounds heavier I am in a rut. I am at my breaking point with my body as I am extremely insecure with it now. I have always had trouble with my weight..I was bullied a lot in Elementary School about my body and appearance and ever since then the negativity has just stuck with me. I did lose a lot of weight in Grade 9 and I was at my thinnest in Grade 10. I was extremely happy with my appearance then. Now I just feel completely disgusting. However, I know my mind set and my lifestyle is unhealthy ( I am a junk food addict) so I am going to change that and become healthy..and hopefully my appearance and my opinion of myself will change. I think I might do a weight loss post now and then like most bloggers are doing at the moment. I think it will help motivate me into really trying. I really want to be bikini ready in time for summer. If you are dealing with a similar situation or are even just struggling with something then let me know. I am always here to talk if you need to.

Definitely pick up the MARCH 2010 Issue of Glamour Magazine before it's too late! I love fashion and I love magazines [obviously]..especially Glamour. And so far this is my favourite issue ever done by them! I am not a fan of Victoria Beckham but for some reason these photos actually made me like her. This issue is so cute as it is extremely colourful! Mostly with pinks x] It also has a lot of floral as Spring is quickly coming upon us. I know this is a random post but I have been re-reading this issue for awhile and it dawned on me..why not recommend it! I love it so much and I hope you guys consider getting it if you have not already done so. ♥

This is Sammy!

I needed to rant a little.

I really need to get this off my chest at the moment. I am sitting here in my room upset because I just ended a fight with my parents. I am surprised to be in the position I am right now because I never expected my parents to fight with me over something as silly as this. I basically told my mom that I was getting my septum pierced. No big deal, right? I am eighteen years old, I have the money and I already have my nose and tragus pierced. And I have a tattoo. My parents are so open-minded except for about piercing and tattoos (I just found out). I am in shock right now because they told me that if I get it done not only will I be ugly but I better not expect anything from them (money, shelter, food, etc). It hurts me that my parents (who’ve since I was little have told me to always be myself and that they would always accept me no matter what) have suddenly changed their minds(?). I don’t understand how they can support me in things only they like or believe in but not in things they don’t. I know some parents are like that but never my parents. This is the first time they have made me choose between something like a piercing over their support both financial and emotional. I really don’t understand what the problem is. It is a silly little piercing that can be removed..why are they making a big deal of it?! Especially since I go to an amazing tattoo and piercing shop that is completely clean and have such talented employees.

On another note my main problem is with my mom. Lately, I’ve felt completely disconnected from my family especially her. It’s because she does not agree with my lifestyle. She is an intellect who works at a University and I am completely opposite of her. I hate school, I love fashion and I am extremely girly. I like to read magazines, go shopping, oh and now and then get something pierced. I accept that she is who she is but for some reason she cannot accept who I am. Of course she thinks she is subtle about it but she isn’t. For one she constantly makes fun of people who like fashion, make-up, etc. To her it is not a proper profession or even something to spend time on. She makes fun of it and therefore is making fun of me. It is stressful feeling like you can’t talk to your family about what you love because they make fun of it or think it’s stupid. My older sister is their accomplishment, their token child. She is exactly what they want in a child. And I am the moodier, quiet, completely different child. Let’s just say I have some lifetime resentment built up. So anyways I am sorry to ramble on about this but it does help.

Why do they say that I should always be myself but end up making fun of who I am. May I quote my dad who said “That’s not who you are” that being someone who gets piercings. How does he know who I am! I think only I know who I am. And I want to get this piercing because it is a way I can express myself. If you hate piercings and think they are dumb then that’s your opinion and I understand it but you can’t force someone to think like you. I understand where they are coming from but in the end it is about me and who I am. I can’t give up who I am or what I want just because they think it’s dumb or improper. It’s not like I want to shoot up or kill someone. I live in a house where I am given the freedom to be myself but only if myself is what they want.

I would love to hear your input on this or even your own stories. I am sure I am not alone on this. I am hoping my parents will change their mind and understand where I am coming from and this is who I am. I am getting this piercing regardless of what they think I just hope they won’t let it come in between us and ruin our relationship.

Influential Songs ♥

I have always been obsessed with music. Ever since Grade 6 when I discovered the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs I’ve loved it. It’s amazing what certain songs can do to you and how they stay with you forever. Everyone has those songs in which bring back everything you felt from the first moment you heard it. The smells, the taste and most importantly the feeling. I thought I would share with you the songs that influenced me greatly and will always be apart of me. First of all there are two bands that I absolutely love and that I could not choose just one song because ALL of them affected me. These bands are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Metric. If you know them then you know exactly what I am talking about. If you don’t then I suggest you listen to them right away! I will however tell you my favourite songs from those bands. They are the first songs I ever heard from each band. From Yeah Yeah Yeahs the song is Black Tongue and from Metric the song is Dead Disco.

Now I am rambling so to keep this short as possible I am going to list the only songs so far that have stuck with me all this time. I listened to these songs in a time of my life where I was just discovering who I was....if that makes sense. They took a great part of moulding who I am now and every time I listen to these songs all the feelings I felt then come rushing back. These are truly amazing songs and if you have not heard them then I strongly suggest you do! I kind of want to make this a tag of some sort! London Stories ♥

Lately I’ve been thinking non-stop about travelling..particularly to London. If you have read my previous posts you know that I have already been but it wasn’t exactly the best trip. Even though it was a very stressful time there were still good parts about the trip that I want to share with you guys. What I will do is now and then I will tell you about a certain thing or story I loved about my trip a long with some pictures. My first story is about when my mom and I first arrived to London. We had just met up with my sister who had been living in Leeds for school and we were on our way to our hotel. My sister who was used to London took us to the subway because it’s obviously cheaper than a taxi. I was exhausted from the trip and a little overwhelmed when suddenly we reached the escalator. Holy crap those things are huge in London. Ever since I was little I’ve hated escalators so I stood there totally shocked, refusing to go on it. My mom started yelling at me to get on the escalator and out of exhaustion and panic I started bawling. Here I was fresh of the plane standing at the top of the escalator crying as people walked by me staring. We ended up having to take a taxi to our hotel which was quite pricey. So the reason why I love this story so much is because at the moment it was stressful and humiliating and now when I think back it’s just hilarious. I still can’t believe I broke down crying in the middle of the subway especially since I hate showing that kind of emotion in public..well who doesn’t. It ends well though because by the end of the trip I did master those darn escalators. It was definitely an accomplishment. ♥

So I was browsing through Amy Antoinette’s blog and this picture just jumped out at me. Ever since I was little I have been obsessed with red hair! My inspiration has been from The Little Mermaid, Poison Ivy and even Satine from Moulin Rouge. In 7th grade I finally dyed my hair from my natural hair colour (blond) to red. I loved it so much that I have had it ever since! Except for one year in which I went back blond but quickly realised it wasn’t for me. So my issue with this picture is that I look at it and I’m sad because I so badly want this red. I dye my hair red from a box about once a month (I know it’s terrible) and after about two washes the red has faded. I am so sick of having faded red hair.. I so want that vixen fiery red.. Like poison ivy’s hair! Now to my question to you guys. Do you think going to a salon to get my hair dyed would make a difference compared to just dying it from a box? I want the red like the girl in the photo has but I’m not sure if I want to spend $60 if it is just going to fade as fast as it would from a box. I’m probably not making any sense but hopefully you guys will understand what I’m talking about and give me some helpful advice! Do you think going to a salon is worth it and will give me that amazing colour that will last? Or should I just stick to boxes and if so do you know of any amazing box dyes? Thanks lovelies!

My Hair Extensions

For a very long time now I have wanted hair extensions! Since I am constantly straightening and dying my hair I need to cut it a lot therefore making it difficult for it to grow. So A couple of days ago I decided it was time to get some hair extensions. First of all I was surprised by how expensive they were. Never in a million years did I think I would buy $130 (CAD) hair extensions.. However my generous boyfriend paid for half of it as an early valentines day gift. I was so excited to try them out and now that I have I am really happy that I bought them. The pictures I have arent very good but they honestly do look natural. They are also so soft as they are human hair. The extensions I got are the Euronext Remy 18 inch Clip-In Hair Extensions from Sally’s Beauty Supply. I heard many great things about them as I did my research. I really do recommend these hair extensions and I am very glad I got them.

I love Lush soaps! Yes they can be pricey but I think they are totally worth it. They smell amazing and most of them are great for your skin! I did forget to take a picture of porridge soap (one of my favourites). I also love Honey I washed the kids, Rock Star and Sexy Peel. I'm all out of rock star soap at the moment so I've been using the samples I have of it. Honey I washed the kids soap is the best for your skin because it is so moisturizing. I always have back ups of it.

♥Valentines Day is fast approaching. I love valentines day...not because I have a boyfriend but because of so many other things. I love how everything becomes red and pink, with hearts everywhere. I just love how romantic everything becomes. I especially love watching romance movies such as Love Actually :)
♥Shoes. I have become obsessed with buying shoes. I never used to be interested in them but as my fashion sense has evolved I now love them. I can't wait till I can own a pair of designer shoes..hopefully Louboutins!
♥Taking the year off. So last year I graduated from high school and instead of going to uni or college right away I decided to take the year off. It was the best decision I’ve ever made as I definitely wasn’t ready to leave home. Now I know exactly what I want to do and I can't wait to start school in September.
♥Lipstick and more lipstick! Okay so while i was in high school I was too self-conscious to ever wear lipstick. Now I can’t go anywhere without it! I love M.A.C lipsticks because of the amazing colours and it's texture.

♥Being unemployed. I worked Seasonal but because of money they couldn’t keep me after December and since then no one has been hiring. I hate being out of school and not working because I have so much time on my hands and no money! I am down to my last $100 and unfortunately there are so many things I want to do and buy :(
♥Winter. I am so sick of winter! As you saw in one of my previous posts I just can't wait till summer gets here. Last summer was terrible here in Ontario so I'm hoping this one will be hot hot hot!
♥My teeth. Okay so this one is kind of random but I am hating my teeth right now. I had my braces taken off about two and half years ago and being the unorganised girl that I am I lost my retainer. So everyday my teeth become more crooked. I need to go back to the dreaded ortho and get another one before it's too late. I can't afford to get braces put back on nor do I want to go through that again.

The crunches begin today and the dreaming begins tonight. I can’t wait for summer.. I know it’s quite awhile away but that doesn’t stop me from thinking about it all day long. I can’t wait till this miserable, cold, wet winter is gone and glorious summer is here. I want to be laying on the beach, my skin warm and sandy. I want to be laying there with my magazines and Ipod as I hope for the slightest tan for my pale skin. Most importantly I just can’t wait for the sun! It’s amazing how happy the sun makes people. Disney...I love you ♥

I love all things Disney...something about it just makes me all warm and giddy inside. Ever since the first time I watched a Disney movie..I've been obsessed. I love the magic and the happiness that just fills you when watching one. Last night I was feeling terrible so my boyfriend and I put on my favourite Disney movie The Little Mermaid and just cuddled. Nothing makes me feel better than my boyfriend and Disney x] As we were watching the movie I couldn’t stop thinking about Disney Couture and how much I love it. Of course I do not own any Disney couture however it is on my wish list. So as I am sitting here in my ever so lovely Disney mood I thought I would just share with you exactly what is on my Disney wish list. :)

1.What is your favourite item of clothing?

My roots sweat pants..I basically live in them.

2.What are your biggest obsessions?

Lush Cosmetics and magazines.

3.Who inspires you?

My mom. She’s one of the kindest people I know and I can always rely on her.

4.Who is your favourite designer and why?

Betsey Johnson...Her designs are amazing and she’s affordable compared to most designers.

5.What is your favourite song ever?

Breathe me by Sia. This is my go-to song whenever I’m upset.

6.What is your favourite song right now?

If we ever meet again by Timbaland ft. Katy Perry <3

7.If you were a sweetie what would you be?

Pink Candy Corn

Johnny Depp.. I’ve loved him since fourth grade.

Probably Disney World.. Haha..I love it there :)

My journals.

15.What did you always want to be/ do when you grew up?

I was constantly changing my mind about that..I still am. I guess I just wanted to be famous for something.. I think everyone goes through a phase where they feel that way. x]

16.If you were an ice-cream what flavour would you be?

Strawberry..yumm.

Natalie Portman or Drew Barrymore.. I love them. :)

18.What would your perfect afternoon consist of?

Being with my family and boyfriend...perhaps on the beach.

I would be a Pink Carnation.

I love love love taking baths. I take one almost everyday..I especially like using my lovely lush products. :)
